I can't thank Reflections enough for reviewing this book. I've been chipping my way at it since I learned about it and have to say it's one of the best non-fiction books I've read in quite some time. I'd compare it to Dawn of the Belle Epoque and I've learned just as much if not more.
While this book is mostly about George III and his family, the author actually starts with George I and shows how George III and his wife Charlotte, while trying to fix the problems the family repeated, only succeeded ensuring their continuance.
A non-fiction book that not only reads more like fiction but uses a great deal of quotes so that the people discussed get a chance to almost be given their own voice. I'm almost done but I'm already planning on buying a hardcover copy of this wonderful book.
