I finally purchased this, as neither the library nor my sister had it. For the life of me, I can't remember how I read it the last time. Anyway, it was great to reread this and we get to see some of the scenes that made it into the anime. When are they going to bring that over here?!
Original review below:
Another great volume in what is fast becoming one of favorite manga series of all time. I love the characters, the idea, the various stories - everything about this series.
The lead up to and beginnings of Iku's disciplinary hearing as well as our introduction to Tezuka's brother.
I already knew this was coming and how awesome this story arc is from the anime. It has everything that fans of this series want: Iku getting into trouble, the team helping her, Dojo and Iku sweet/angry/and humorous times all rolled together, and more information of how this whole 'library war' thing works. One of the better stories I've encountered so far, the worst part of this volume is that it leaves you hanging...so have volume eight close by!
