Reading progress update: I've listend 351 out of 1386 minutes.
Well, we've finally got to the point where Meade takes over for Hooker, which I've always heard/read as happening basically as soon as Chancellorsville ended. So learning of the political and military machinations was very interesting. Also interesting was finding out that Stuart's ride around the Union forces was partially authorized by Lee. He used bad judgement in sustaining the movement but the original order came from Lee.
Wow.
I think we're close to Gettysburg...maybe three more chapters.
