June - New To You Author, Series or Genre

Read a book from new to you author, a new to you series or a genre/sub-genre new to you (or a genre you very seldom read).

Still not completely sure what I'll be reading. Possibilities are:

  • What's a Ghoul to Do?
  • The Dawn of the Belle Epoque (Also for Sail to the Past challenge)
  • Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers
  • Mr. Churchill's Secretary (also for Audiobook challenge)
  • A Time-Traveler's Guide to Elizabethan England (Also for Sail to the Past challenge)

Any thoughts? Several of these are Library books, so I'll be attempting to read most of them.

Actually...I'd like your votes. From now till June 2nd, if you'll leave comments on which you think I should pick up. Whichever gets the most votes, I promise to start June 2nd that evening. (One caveat being if the book has to go back to the library, but for most this is unlikely - only concern is for Stiff.)

----------------------------------------

Update: June 1st

So far the voting stands at:

  1. Dawn of the Belle Epoque - 4
  2. Stiff - 2
  3. Mr. Churchill's Secretary -1
  4. What's a Ghoul to Do? -1
  5. A Time-Traveler's Guide to Elizabethan England

+ one "Anything but What's A Ghoul to Do?

+ one Mr. Churchill's Secretary or Dawn of the Belle Epoque

+ one Time-Traveler's or Mr. Churchill's Secretary

(I will include these in the final tally)

So far, Dawn of the Belle Epoque is firmly in the lead. Thanks for your votes, and for those who haven't - I can't wait to hear what you think!
